Attention undergraduate students at Queen’s University and the Royal Military College!
Register now for the CIDP’s 2025-26 Emerging Leaders in International and Defence Policy program! This program will grow your network and complement your academic development by deepening your knowledge of critical issues at the intersection of security, defence, and politics.
Undergraduate students who fulfill the program requirements will receive a certificate at the end of the Winter term (April 2026).
There are three steps to the Student Engagement Certificate program:
- Register: Interested students must fill out the registration link by October 3, 2025. (Registration is now closed)
- Participate*: Over the course of the year, the program requires attending a minimum of six In-Person CIDP events (with a minimum of one event each from the “Discussions on Defence” and “IDP Speaker Series” programs).
- Write: To earn the certificate, students will be required to have one “Dispatch” (blog) accepted for publication at the CIDP’s Contact Report before 6 April 2026.
