About
Colonel Véronique Gervais joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1996 and was commissioned as an infantry officer after graduating from the Royal Military College in 2001. She held platoon and company‑level command positions within the 2nd Battalion, Royal 22e Régiment, and has served in leadership roles at the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School (CFLRS), the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC), as the Commanding Officer of the Peace Support Training Centre (PSTC) and as the Task Force Commander of the Canadian contingent of the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO).
Her staff experience includes appointments as Chief Instructor, Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commander of the Canadian Army, Executive Assistant to the Commandant of the NATO Defense College, J3 at 1st Canadian Division, and Chief of Staff at the Canadian Army Doctrine and Training Centre.
