Biography
I completed my BSc. (Hons) in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour, and my MSc. in Global Health at McMaster University. I later returned to complete my MA at the Institute on Globalization and Human Condition at McMaster University. My research is driven by a commitment to shed light on and address the systemic inequities faced by marginalized groups, using my academic training to help foster meaningful change.
Research Interests
My research interests focus on the experiences of communities rendered invisible. I hope to study the lived experiences of immigrant women working in Portugal's gig economy and analyze how their identities as women, immigrants, and workers shape their livelihoods and overall life satisfaction.
