Inquiry @ Queen's Undergraduate Research Conference
The I@Q theme for 2023 is Misinformation: Rogue Inquiries. In today’s social media, news-on-demand driven world, misinformation is rampant. The spread of incorrect and misleading information by political and non-political players alike wreaks havoc on society’s ability to make informed, critical, evidence-based decisions. Misinformation and disinformation are so prevalent that the question needs to be asked whether it is in fact now the norm, while truth and facts are the rogue actors.
Are you an undergraduate student who has (individually or as part of a group) conducted research related in any way to misinformation or disinformation? Do you have an interesting, unique, or possibly rogue inquiry about its impact on life and society? As the problem-solving scholars of the next generation, we’d love to hear more about your research at the I@Q Conference.
Note: "Misinformation: Rogue Inquiries" may be the theme for the conference, but applicants are encouraged to submit research on any topic.
