Student Support Session with the KNCLN

Come spend time with Susan Peters and Dakota Oliver from the KNCLN to learn about financial supports for post-secondary students, and learn about their program Apitisiwn (which exists to support urban Indigenous individuals and communities!), about youth programming, volunteering opportunities, career training and resources...and so so so much more!

You will learn how standard formats and structures for resumes and cover letters as well as how to use key strategies to highlight your unique skills, knowledge, and experience to make your application stand out. Please feel free to bring a sample resume or cover letter to receive feedback on and/or to develop.

Gather Together - Mindfulness, Meditation and Muse

The Peer Health Educators and Peer Wellness Coaches will host a session on the benefits of mindfulness and meditation. Our Peer Wellness Coaches will expand on Health Promotion's Muse Biofeedback meditation headband and how students can book appointments to use the Muse and track their meditation progress. The session will then provide students to participate in a group meditation, led by the 'Muse' app.

4D x SHRC Bingo Night!

Join 4D's 2SLGBTQIA+ Program Assistant Sam, and our friends of 4D at the Sexual Health Resource Centre (SHRC) for a Bingo Night for Indigenous students and 2SLGBTQIA+ students!

There will be lots of amazing prizes, yummy snacks and a grand prize of beadwork by Ness Young.
