According to the 2026 CAUBO Investment Survey, Queen's ranked second among Canadian universities with more than 5,000 students for endowment assets per full-time equivalent student. This measure reflects the university's enduring capacity to invest in students, research and its future.

As of April 30, 2026, annual endowment distributions reached $67 million in 2026, supporting student awards, research, faculty positions, and other priorities across Queen's.

Progress toward our carbon target

Between December 31, 2021 and December 31, 2025, the endowment's carbon footprint fell from 89.3 to 41.0 tonnes CO₂e per million dollars invested, a 54% reduction. Read more about responsible investing.
