Working as an Equity Ambassador on campus has been a fulfilling and rewarding job as I have appreciated the opportunities to share my experiences as an LGBTQ+ student on campus to showcase my experiences on campus and the ways in which equity-seeking students like myself can find a home here. It is so nice to meet different students from all over the world and share my experiences and why I have called Queen's home for the past four years.
My favorite thing about being an Equity Ambassador is the ability to have important conversations about difficult topics and share the wonderful resources and advocacy work that happens every day on campus to make Queen's a better place.

My favorite thing about Queen's is the community of people. It is nice to know that I have built a base of people who are like me, who have similar interests, and who have similar goals
Advice for first year students:
My one piece of advice to first year students is to always be your most authentic self and join a club, team, or group that resonates with you - by doing so, you will find the people who want to do it alongside you.
