In-Person Campus Tours

We are happy to announce that in-person campus tours will resume on Tuesday, March 1st. Group sizes and tour offerings will be limited for the time being, but will continue to evolve as provincial restrictions are lifted.

At this time, the Queen's COVID-19 vaccination policy remains in place, requiring all students, staff, faculty and visitors to be fully vaccinated to attend on-campus activities.

The Province of Ontario has not changed the definition of fully vaccinated to require a third dose. An individual is fully vaccinated 14 days after they have received:

  • A full series of a vaccine, or a combination of vaccines approved by Health Canada; OR
  • a complete one or two-dose series of a COVID-19 vaccine that is not authorized for use by Health Canada, AND one additional dose of an mRNA vaccine approved by Health Canada; OR
  • three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine that is not authorized for use by Health Canada.

A list of available tour dates can be found below. Note that if a date is "sold out" we are unable to add your name to a waitlist.

Campus tours are conducted entirely outside and will not enter any buildings on campus. Residence tours are unavailable at this time - for more info on Queen's Residence buildings please see here.  All tour participants are asked to wear a mask while on tour. Tours last approximately 1 1/2 hours, so please dress for the weather and bring comfortable footwear.

Tours leave from the front entrance of Gordon Hall (74 Union Street West). Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your tour time. Tour guides will meet attendees in front of the building to check them in. More information on directions to campus and parking can be found here.

Audio Tour

Enjoy this audio tour, featuring the voices of Queen's own Campus Tour Guides. This tour can be used while walking through both Kingston campuses, or while sitting at home! If using as a walking tour, the clips will play automatically once you reach the building. If you are using at home, you will have to select each stop and listen at your own time. Enjoy!
