About the University Relations Portfolio

The University Relations portfolio supports the university's vision and academic mission by building Queen’s profile, nationally and internationally, and by telling the story of Queen’s through our main website, through the Gazette and other key communications websites, and across the university's social media accounts.

The Vice-Principal (University Relations), Michael Fraser, oversees the departments for Integrated Communications, Marketing and Brand, and Government Relations at Queen’s.

The Vice-Principal also leads the continual enhancement of Queen’s reputation through the stewardship of relations with all levels of governments and with higher learning institutions. The team places a special emphasis on building and improving relationships within the Kingston community, and also serves as a resource for the media.
