What are IT Administrative Representatives?
A departmental IT Admin Rep is a liaison and communications conduit between their department and IT Services. The IT Admin Rep can request services, changes, and support on behalf of the department. An IT Admin Rep is designated by their Department Head and they cannot be a student. Every department should have at least one IT Admin Rep; however, we strongly encourage departments to appoint two individuals so there is no break in service to your department. Some of the large departments have several reps appointed.

IT Admin Representatives are designated by a Department Head and cannot be a student. To request or update IT Admin Rep membership for your department, fill out the IT Admin Rep Membership form. Be sure to download and complete the attached document before submitting the form.

Current IT Admin Reps have access to the IT Admin Rep SharePoint site. The site contains up-to-date information about current projects and initiatives from IT Services, as well as information on how to access restricted resources and understand the responsibilities of an IT Admin Rep. Where required, IT Services will also provide necessary communications to IT Admin Reps to send to members of their department regarding specific initiatives that may affect these users.
