Congratulations to Jocelyn Powers on her recent publication in Frontiers in Pain Research titled: "Music to My Senses: Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Evidence of Music Analgesia Across Connectivity Networks Spanning the Brain and Brainstem". This study demonstrates interconnected brain regions with altered connectivity in relation to altered pain responses while participants listed to music. The study also showed that the effect of listening to music varied across people and related to their pain sensitivity.
