Volunteers are needed for on-going research studies this summer!
We are now looking for volunteers to participate in our CIHR funded research study on fibromyalgia.
For these studies we need people with fibromyalgia, and also people without fibromyalgia.
It is important that we study people who do not have fibromyalgia so that we can understand how neural processes might be altered in people with fibromyalgia.
1) The neural basis of how pain is altered in fibromyalgia
Here you can find more detailed information about our study of altered pain processing in fibromyalgia.
To see if you are eligible for the study please complete the initial screening form.
If you are interested in being contacted with information about this study, please email StromanLab@queensu.ca
2) The link between emotions and pain in fibromyalgia
Here you can find more detailed information about our study of how emotions might be related to fibromyalgia.
To see if you are eligible for the study please complete the initial screening form.
If you are interested in being contacted with information about this study, please email StromanLab@queensu.ca
3) Differences in pain sensitivity across healthy individuals
Here you can find more detailed information about our study of peripheral sensitivity.
To see if you are eligible for the study please complete the initial screening form.
If you are interested in being contacted with information about this study, please email StromanLab@queensu.ca
4) The effects of conditioned pain modulation on pain processing
Here you can find more detailed information about our study of conditioned pain modulation.
To see if you are eligible for the study please complete the initial screening form.
