Professor Molson shares that he has his own mental health struggles, plays jazz in class, and responds kindly and in an understanding fashion. He's a really patient professor and a genuinely nice person.
Mental health to me, means acknowledging that being a human being is difficult at times for all of us.
I talk to students about my own challenges and try to model continuous improvement toward becoming the kind of person you want to be over pretending that you already are.
I think initiatives like this one are important.
