As a nurse, we are often putting others’ needs above our own. Taking care of our own needs and mental health is critical in order to be able to care for our patients.
I support student mental health by being kind and approachable, and empathetic to the students. As someone who has struggled with my own mental health, I know how hard it can be to open up and ask for help.
