Canada's chief justice visits the Faculty of Law

The Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, was in Kingston on Friday, Sept. 27 to visit Queen’s Faculty of Law.

Chief Justice McLachlin, the first woman to hold the position, was greeted by Bill Flanagan, Dean of the Faculty of Law, before speaking to students about the importance of preserving Canada’s strong justice system.

While in Kingston, Chief Justice McLachlin participated in the well-known Sir John A. Macdonald walking tour of Kingston.
