The Queen’s Gazette is the university’s primary news and information channel with a mandate to support and communicate the strategic priorities of the university. Articles are shared via the Gazette website, the e-newsletter Queen’s Gazette Today, and social media.
The Gazette content is created and selected with the Queen’s community in mind, including faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Therefore, items included in the Gazette must be applicable to a majority of the Queen’s University community.
Submissions are considered and are at the discretion of University Relations and are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. The Gazette does not publish letters to the editor or opinion pieces.
Any submissions must be received at least 3-5 business days prior to preferred run date.
All Gazette items must adhere to Canadian Press style; however there are Queen’s specific exceptions, which can be found in the Queen’s University Style Guide.
