Deputy Provost Laeeque Daneshmend and Peggy Watkin, Senior Associate, Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic), were the guest chefs for the feast hosted by Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre (FDASC) on April 16. They prepared keema, a traditional South Asian beef dish, and daal, a lentil dish.

FDASC hosts feast twice a month in order to provide students, staff and faculty with the opportunity to enjoy a home-cooked meal, build community and participate in a time of camaraderie. Everyone in the Queen’s community is welcome to come and join in when the feasts resume in September. FDASC is always looking for guest chefs. Visit the Four Directions website for more information.
