Flags on campus are lowered in memory of Conrad Brunke. He worked as a buyer in what is now known as Strategic Procurement Services from 1964 until his retirement in 1996.

Mr. Brunke is survived by his daughter Cheryl Power, a financial assistant in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, granddaughter Jessica Power (Artsci’08), an administrative coordinator for Queen’s School of Business, and wife Shirley.

Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Monday, January 20 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, January 21 at 11 a.m., followed by the interment at the Cataraqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
