The latest catalogue from McGill-Queen’s University Press (MQUP) is now available online, boasting new offerings in history, public policy, linguistics, philosophy, culture and beyond.

“These offerings reflect the press’s reputation for high-quality scholarly publishing and increasing visibility in Canada, the United States and Europe,” says Alan Harrison, Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic).

This year’s featured titles include François-Marc Gagnon’s Paul-Émile Borduas: A Critical Biography. Drawing on a lifetime of published research, Gagnon's comprehensive biography is a far-reaching exploration of a Quebec cultural figure renowned for both his art and his thought.

John L. Riley’s The Once and Future Great Lakes Country is a history of environmental change in the Great Lakes region, looking as far back as the last ice age, and also reflecting on modern trajectories of change, many of them positive.

A joint venture of McGill and Queen’s universities, the MQUP is one of Canada’s most prominent scholarly presses and has published more than 2,800 books. The press aims to advance scholarship and contribute to culture, with a focus on both the Canadian perspective and international themes.
