Kim Graham (left) of Queen’s ITServices speaks with Christine Fang-Denissov from Urban Strategies Inc., Queen’s lead planning partner, about how to better integrate Queen’s campus and the surrounding community.

During the first of two Campus & Community Open Houses for the Campus Master Plan (CMP), faculty, staff, students and community members dropped in to Stauffer Library to learn more about the CMP team’s preliminary findings. Queen’s planning partners were on hand to discuss the work so far and hear feedback from those who attended.

If you missed the open house, you can still view the information panels on the event webpage and contribute to the discussion forum. There will be a second open house in October, when more detailed planning concepts will be presented.

The renewed CMP is expected to be finalized in early 2014 and will provide a vision and framework to guide how the university changes physically over the next 10 to 15 years.
