Members of the public are invited to attend a public meeting on Thursday Feb. 13 to discuss Queen’s application for a noise bylaw exemption for activity on the two athletic fields at the northwest corner of West Campus after 9 pm.

“We want to continue the dialogue with local residents, hear their concerns about noise at the fields in the evening, and hear from those community groups that use the fields,” says Alan Harrison, Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic).

The meeting will take place Thursday, February 13 from 7 to 8:30 pm at Robert Sutherland Hall (138 Union St.), room 202. Representatives from the Provost’s Office, the Office of the Vice-Provost and Dean of Student Affairs, and Athletics & Recreation will be in attendance to answer questions and listen to comments about the application.
