Nine different orientation programs organized by the faculties and other Queen's units welcomed the class of 2017, introducing them to life at Queen's. Pictured are arts and science students as they practice their cheers on the first day of Orientation Week 2013.

Among orientation week's activies is the popular Eng Cuts, which sees new students in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science show their tricolour pride through colourful hair styles. Watch the Queen'sTV video here.

Over 3,600 new Queen's students arrived on campus over the weekend and are joined by more than 1000 upper year leaders for Orientation Week's activities.
