Science Quest celebrates 25 years

Science Quest marked its 25th anniversary of inspiring young minds last week, welcoming current and past day camp participants, parents, instructors and community members at a celebratory BBQ. Science Quest, founded by Queen’s engineering students, brings 500 elementary school students to the Queen’s campus annually to participate in fun activities that help develop a passion for science and technology.

Working the grill, from left to right, are Doug McFarlane (Sc’14), Engineering Society Vice-President (Society Affairs), and Science Quest instructors Adam Narel (Sc’16) and Jordan Mitchell (Sc’16).
