University Chaplain Kate Johnson is offering her support to Queen’s students, staff and faculty who may require it following the stabbing deaths of five young people in Calgary earlier today.

The Morgan Memorial Chapel on the second floor of Theological Hall will be open on Tuesday, April 15 from 7-8:30 pm for anyone who wants to light a candle, say a prayer or have a conversation about the deaths of the young people in Calgary.

“I welcome anyone who may want to gather as a community and reflect on this traumatic incident,” says Ms. Johnson.

Those who want support outside of that timeframe are welcome to contact the University Chaplain by email.
