The Vice Principal (Research) portfolio seeks internal applications for the Chair of the General Research Ethics Board (GREB) position. The chair is responsible for ensuring that the research ethics board acts by all applicable regulations, guidelines and policies governing research ethics boards.

The GREB Chair works closely with Ethics Office staff and GREB members to review, propose modifications to, approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any proposed or ongoing research involving human participants.
