Queen’s University regrets to inform the community of the death of student Gil Orbach.

Gil died while on exchange at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The third-year student was studying psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students. On behalf of the university community, we extend our deepest sympathies to Gil’s family and friends,” says Daniel Woolf, Principal and Vice-Chancellor.

Flags on campus will be lowered in Gil’s memory. Memorial details will be shared when they are available.
