The Community Initiatives Fund helps connect teacher candidates to community-building opportunities, fostering skills that they will carry with them in their classrooms and beyond.
In the past, gifts to the fund have supported tutoring programs, literacy and learning initiatives, and partnerships with Kingston classrooms and youth organizations. These experiences give future teachers the chance to learn with local partners while bringing faculty research to their communities.
