This fund supports the Outdoor and Experiential Education (OEE) program, where teacher candidates build the skills and experience needed to bring outdoor learning to schools and communities.
OEE offers a different path into teaching – one shaped by hands-on experience, time spent learning in the field with others, and a belief that learning outdoors should be welcoming and accessible to all. Named in memory of OEE founder Bob Pieh, the fund helps sustain these experiences for future generations of teachers.
