As someone who has lived in Kingston for their entire life, I have nothing but good things to say about the city. One thing I love about living off-campus in Kingston is the numerous activities and experiences available to you even after completing your time in residence. Being a student town, Kingston has a unique vibe, and a closely connected community can be found among students living in the University District.

When I signed my first off-campus lease, I was so excited to start living on my own that I did not think much about the details. I skimmed through the contract, handed over my deposit, and just assumed that everything would work out on its own. Spoiler alert: it did not. At least, not right away like I thought it would.
