We are an analytical chemistry research group developing new tools and techniques to measure complex chemical and biological systems. Our work brings together microfluidics, ambient mass spectrometry, and 3D printing to build customized devices and analytical workflows that extend the limits of what can be detected, identified, and quantified.
By translating these fundamental advances into practical platforms, we address emerging problems in clinical diagnostics, metabolomics, and environmental monitoring. Our projects are highly interdisciplinary, and our members bring a wide range of backgrounds spanning analytical chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, materials science, chemical and mechanical engineering, and data science — collaborating across fields to turn measurement challenges into discoveries.
