The Oleschuk group conducts research in analytical chemistry, with a focus on the development of novel instrumentation and methodology for the measurement of complex chemical and biological systems. Current research encompasses surface energy traps, ambient ionization mass spectrometry employing the liquid microjunction surface sampling probe (LMJ-SSP), and the application of 3D printing to analytical instrumentation. These approaches are directed toward advancing capabilities in chemical imaging, biomedical diagnostics, and the direct analysis of complex samples.

Funded positions are not available at this time; candidates are encouraged to apply in conjunction with external fellowship funding (e.g., CPRA, or Mitacs).
