Tricolour Giving

The Tricolour Giving opportunity is an annual fundraising initiative that aims to provide support for students of Queen’s, while advancing the spirit of philanthropy in students.

QSAA recognizes the significant contributions that alumni make to the Queen’s community through their volunteerism and financial support. To help inspire philanthropic giving among students, QSAA team chooses a fund on campus that is in need of support every year and raises funds throughout the year to make a gift.

2020-2021 QSAA's Annual Tricolour Giving Project

This year, QSAA have chosen to support the the Robert Sutherland-Harry Jerome Entrance Award. This award goes to black students entering the first year of any direct-entry undergraduate degree program at Queen's University on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic achievement and contribution to the black community or other volunteer activities.

QSAA wanted to choose an initiative that would support their commitment to diversity and inclusion and they hope students will join them in taking this small step in the process of making Queen's a more diverse and accessible place.
