Queen’s retirees play a significant role in the success of the Queen's campaign. In the most recent campaign, retiree contributions accounted for almost 50% ($235,280) of the entire Queen’s contribution.
Both Queen’s and Queen’s Retirees have been recognized annually with United Way awards for the success of our campaign.
In 2022 the Retirees campaign received the following Workplace Awards from the United Way:
- Limestone award is given to workplaces that raise $100,000 to $249,999
- Ruby award is given to workplaces with more than 40 Leaders
Donating to the United Way gives us the assurance that the many people in our community who need support will have their needs recognized by an organization that can respond very quickly, especially in a crisis situation.
