CISC 330 Computer-Integrated Surgery
CISC 330 Computer-Integrated Surgery Units: 3.00
Concepts of computer-integrated surgery systems and underlying techniques such as medical-image computing, robotics, and virtual reality, learned through real-life applications and problems. Techniques learned in class will be applied in a hands-on surgery session where students perform minimally invasive surgery with virtual-reality navigation tools.
Learning Hours: 120 (36 Lecture, 84 Private Study)
Requirements: Prerequisite Registration in a School of Computing Plan and a minimum grade of a C- (obtained in any term) or a 'Pass' (obtained in Winter 2020) in (CISC 121 and CISC 271).
Exclusion COMP 329; COMP 230.
Equivalency COMP 230.
