903 - Missing Person 

This incident code is used whenever our department receives a report of an individual failing to arrive home when they were expected or otherwise cannot be located.

Often these calls are from a student's housemate reporting they are late in arriving home or a parent concerned they are unable to contact their son or daughter.

The Security Supervisor is informed about these incidents immediately and attempts to locate the individual.  Depending on the circumstances, this may result in a search of Campus by the Supervisor and Security Patrols, attending a specific classroom or area the person might be located, and in serious cases we would request the assistance of Kingston City Police.

To date all reports of missing persons involving the Queen's Community has resulted in the individual being located soon after the call was placed.
