Exploring theories about differences between the majoritarian and minoritarian methods of thought, Dr. Odhiambo considers philosophical texts and novels from the early modern and modern periods to examine their various approaches to the problem of representational language. He also discusses how both methods present the Black-figure, and critiques how imagined blackness willfully looks away from the African presence.
