Dr. Roni Kraut CPA, MD, MSc, CCFP | Co-Director
Dr. Kraut is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University. She has a regular family practice and also works in long-term care. Her research focuses on addressing meaningful and practical questions in primary care, particularly around preventing overdiagnosis and minimizing low-value care.

Rebecca Theal | Co-Director
Since starting with EON at the end of 2020, Rebecca has supported multiple projects related to primary health care and EMR data.
Rebecca attended McGill University for her MSc in Experimental Medicine and has a background in mental health research.

Lorne Kinsella | Data Manager
As the EON Local Area Data Manager, Lorne is responsible for the collection of EMR data from Primary Care Physicians in Kingston and the surrounding area. Lorne is tasked with the extraction, processing, cleaning, and uploading of EMR data into a central data repository and facilitating the development of query/reporting tools for use with the Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network (CPCSSN) data repository for research purposes.
Lorne brings over 25 years of IT consulting experience developing a wide variety of database end-user applications for public and private sector clients. He has a Diploma from St. Lawrence College in Data Processing - Business Administration and is a certified PowerBuilder Developer.
