Opportunities for patients

POPLAR Patient Advisory Committee

EON and POPLAR (the Primary Care Ontario Practice-based Learning and Research Network) are looking for patients who would like to have an active role in helping shape POPLAR. Patients will represent EON at POPLAR Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings.

The PAC is a Patient Partner-led committee comprised of patients invited through their Network from across Ontario. The PAC represents and articulates patient needs, expectations, and experiences to the POPLAR leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.

Meetings will be held remotely and will take place every two months. Patients representing EON should be located within the southeastern Ontario region. Patient representatives will be reimbursed for their time.

For more information about the PAC, its mandate, and the patient advisor role, please see the POPLAR Patient Advisory Committee Structure 2022 PDF.

If you are interested in becoming a patient representative for EON, please send us an email at eon@queensu.ca.
