Non-Credit Course Schedule

Dates and Duration

A series of classes are offered two times per year. The first session typically starts in October and the second session starts in February. Classes are held in the evening, two hours per week, for 8 weeks.

Course levels offered are determined by interest/enrolment. Enrolment is limited.

The range of courses are offered through the Department of French Studies and have been designed to accommodate students from all backgrounds and levels of French. Through interactive grammar lessons and group activities, which work to provide students with language skills while also exposing them to French culture, our courses provide students with a solid starting point from which they can continue to pursue studies in French.

Classes are delivered in a small classroom for a relaxed atmosphere, as such, provide an ideal environment for students to apply what they learn and improve their knowledge and French. Our primary goal is to foster a positive and supportive environment in which students feel comfortable participating allowing them to improve their knowledge and application of French at their own pace while making French-speaking friends in the process.
