Science Rendezvous booth applications are open until December 18.
Research has the power to spark curiosity, inspire discovery, and open up a world of possibilities for children and youth. By making science engaging and accessible, we hope to inspire the next generation to see themselves as the innovators, problem-solvers, and researchers of tomorrow.
Science Rendezvous Kingston is a free annual celebration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) that welcomes thousands of visitors from across the region for a day of hands-on discovery, creativity, and fun.
In preparation for the 2027 event, Queen’s groups and community partners are invited to showcase their research and bring science to life through interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities, and exhibits that make STEM accessible and engaging for audiences of all ages.
Launched nationally in 2008, Science Rendezvous has grown into Canada’s largest public science outreach festival. Hosted by Queen’s University since 2011, the Kingston event has become one of the country’s most successful editions, driven by the enthusiasm and dedication of Queen’s researchers and students. Last year, the event featured more than 60 interactive booths and engaging stage shows, offering families of all ages an exciting opportunity to explore science in action.
For returning and new participants alike, the event offers an opportunity to connect with the local community and highlight the discoveries, ideas and innovations taking place across Queen’s and the region.
Booth applications are open until December 18. There is no fee to participate in the event as a presenter. Submit an application.
A virtual information session will be held November 10 for new and returning participants. The session will provide an overview of the event and what to expect as a booth exhibitor.
