Thrive, Queen’s long-running employee wellbeing initiative, is expanding from a week to a full month of programming this November. Human Resources will offer events, learning, and resources to help employees build practical skills and support their wellbeing at work and in daily life.

The theme for Thrive Month 2026, Wellbeing in Action: Skills, Strategies, and Support for Everyday Thriving, reflects employee feedback calling for programming that can be easily integrated into day-to-day work and life. With support from Manulife through its ongoing partnership with Queen's, the expanded program will give employees more flexibility to take part.

"Wellbeing looks different for everyone, so expanding Thrive Week to Thrive Month creates greater flexibility for employees to engage in wellbeing programming in ways that are meaningful and sustainable for them," says Sydney Downey, Director, Employee Wellness Services. “The goal is to make wellbeing more accessible, actionable, and achievable for all employees.”

Details about Thrive Month programming, including keynote speakers and featured events, will be shared later in October. Employees are encouraged to visit the Thrive 365 webpage regularly for the latest updates, resources, and opportunities available throughout the month.

The expansion of Thrive is supported through the ongoing partnership of Manulife, whose continued investment in employee wellbeing helps make initiatives such as Thrive Month possible.
