Queen's University is inviting faculty and staff to share their experiences with internal communications through a new Pulse Survey that will help inform the continued evolution of internal communications across the university.

Led by University Relations, the assessment is part of the university's ongoing commitment to strengthening organizational effectiveness and realizing the Bicentennial Vision. The survey will explore how faculty and staff receive and experience internal communications, building on insights gathered through recent initiatives, including the Brand Strategy Survey and the Employee Experiences Survey.

The survey provides faculty and staff with an opportunity to share what's working well, identify areas for improvement, and highlight changes that could have the greatest positive impact. The assessment is intended to better understand how internal communications supports faculty and staff in staying informed, connected, and engaged with the university, while identifying opportunities to strengthen communication across Queen's.

All responses will be anonymous and reported in aggregate. Individual responses will not be shared with Queen's University.

The survey is being administered by Queen's research partner, MacPhie. It will be open for three weeks, from Aug. 6 to Aug. 21, 2026, and will take approximately five to eight minutes to complete.

Employees will receive a survey email invitation from feedback@queensu.ca
