Steering committee struck to oversee the review of the university budget model

Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic) Matthew Evans has struck a university steering committee to oversee the review of Queen’s budget model, providing guidance and recommendations and supporting decision-making during the review process. 

The university has engaged management consulting firm Deloitte to conduct the review, aimed at improving alignment with Queen’s strategic priorities and achieving the Bicentennial Vision, including strengthening the university’s research performance and its global standing. The steering committee will meet regularly over the coming months to review Deloitte’s findings.

Over the summer, Deloitte will hold focused consultation sessions with academic and administrative leaders across campus, including with the principal and vice-principals, deans, vice-provosts, department heads, and several senior administrative staff.
