The Queen’s Off-Campus Living Advisor, in partnership with campus partners, is seeking volunteers for the Second-Hand Shuffle. This event supports a sustainable move-out by giving students a place to donate quality items they no longer need, keeping usable goods out of landfill. These items are then made available for free to students and Kingston community members, helping remove financial barriers and improve access for all participants. The event also supports students transitioning from residence to off-campus living.

The Second-Hand Shuffle will take place April 20 to 24 (drop-off), April 28 to 30 (drop-off and pick-up), and May 1 (pick-up) at MacGillivray-Brown Hall, 218 Barrie Street.

Volunteers will help with item intake, sorting, and general event support. It is a chance to support a more sustainable campus while helping ensure items stay in use and accessible to those who need them.
