The Department of Geography and Planning is pleased to share PhD student Bhavya Bogra has been selected as the recipient of the Christopher Knapper Award for Excellence in Teaching.
The award, presented by the Alma Mater Society (AMS) recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to enhancing the student learning experience at Queen's University. It honours two teaching assistants, and is named after Christopher Knapper, the founding Director of the Instructional Development Centre (IDC). Bhavya's work and dedication stood out to the selection committee and they were excited to celebrate this award at the AMS Awards Gala in April.
Bhavya has been involved with the Queen's community in many ways, from being a Graduate Inclusivity Fellow with the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs and receiving the Division of Student Affairs Peer Leadership Award in 2024-25.
