C. Jane Rayner

After graduation I put my medieval history knowledge to use (thanks to Profs Christianson and Crowder) and moved to England to complete a M.A. in Museum Studies at Leicester University. I met my husband en route back home but then moved back to west London and got married in 1994. I then worked as a temporary curator at a local history museum at Chertsey, Surrey.  We moved back to Toronto in 1997 where we still reside with our two young children (10 and 7). I have been working part-time as a teacher at the Royal Ontario Museum for the past 12 years teaching history through the collections but have broadened my horizons from medieval to ancient Egypt and Greece. When you accompany your child's class on a trip to the ROM please say hello.
