Arthur Lower Workshop

The Arthur Lower Series

The Arthur Lower Workshop Series in Canadian History consists of four workshops throughout the year. This Series features Canadian historians from around the country, who pre-circulate papers-in-progress to interested graduate students and faculty. We then meet for an evening seminar to workshop the paper, provide feedback, and ask questions. The Lower Series highlights the importance of Canadian history to our department, provides networking and professional development opportunities for Canadianist graduate students, and enriches the intellectual climate for all department members.
