African Decolonization and In-Dependence

Image for African decolonization and independence

In this course, we will examine how African peoples responded to, and resisted, European colonialism in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This course looks at the various, multifaceted European presences that colonized Africa and engages with the ways that African countries rejected colonialism, formed anti-colonial movements, and obtained national independence.
