Dr. Laura Carlson launches new podcast "The Feast"

Faculty and students are cordially invited to listen to Dr. Laura Carlson's podcast, "The Feast", launching November 6th at 4 pm on CFRC 101.9 FM (or online at www.cfrc.ca).  Dr. Carlson, who undertook her post-doctoral fellowship and taught in the the Departments of History and Classics is a food historian and medievalist who explores the foods that fuelled history. Discover dinosaur dinners, feminist cocktail parties, and lunch counter revolutionaries. From feasting to fasting, food has changed technology, economics, religion, politics, and more. Dig in each Monday!

Faculty and students in History who are interested in disseminating their research in fun, new, digital ways are invited to reach out to CFRC to develop 'one-off' podcasts or even a series like "The Feast"!  Please Eemail fellow historian and Station Manager, Dinah Jansen, at station@cfrc.ca!
