Congratulations to Paul on the publication of the paper, Optimization of optomechanical cooling and entanglement using semi-analytic
solutions to the Lindblad master equation, Phys. Rev. A 112, 053506 (2025). (arXiv:2504.08673v1 [quant-ph]). This is Paul's second paper on generating squeezed thermal states in the presence of a thermal bath using nonlinear optical processes.

Marc, Colin, Hossein, and Luke attended Physics Symposium 2023, celebrating John Sipe's 50th year at the University of Toronto. John was Marc and Luke's PhD supervisor and Colin and Hossein's postdoc supervisor. It was a great day of tributes and scientific talks and ended with a fantastic dinner. Please see gallery below.

Congratulations to Roozbeh on the publication of the paper, Pump-induced terahertz anisotropy in bilayer graphene, in Physical Review B (Phys. Rev. B 105, 085404 (2022))! This is a collaborative paper with the group of Prof. Stephan Winnerl from the Technical University of Dresden.

New publication in Applied Physics Letters in December 2015 in collaboration with experimental groups in Montreal: Intense terahertz field effects on photoexcited carrier dynamics in gated graphene.
